Terms of Service:
Judge Don Koons Mediation company provides comprehensive, professional mediation services limited to family law matters.

Half-day, full-day, and longer family mediation may be scheduled.

The fee is $450 per party for a half day, and $850 per party for a full day.

Payment: Payment will need to be made no later than the morning of the scheduled mediation by attorney check, cashiers check or cash. "Per side" is defined as opposing parties. An Ad Litem attorney for a child will not generally be considered an additional side. Third parties, for example, grandparents, would be considered an additonal "side" if they are adverse to each parent, or seek orders in their own right as against either or both parents.

A half day mediation is generally defined as 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. While some allowance will be made for time overage, continued work well into the afternoon would result in a charge for a full day.

A full day is generally defined as 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. While some allowance will be made for time overage if the case is basically settled, working into the evening hours will result in a charge per side of $300 per hour.
